Michael Porpora: Visual Production Assistant / Photographer / Videography

Before lending his informadible and acute talent to Angels Of Flight Productions, Michael Porpora spent years in TV and local film production, station management and teaching film production in the New York school system of Armonk, New York. A graduate from Eastchester High School and the State University Of New York at Delhi with a degree in Technical Engineering, Michael brings an array of talent and expertise to the table at Angels Of Flight Productions. Michael joined the team in July of 2010 and remains as a vital member to the crew. Michael’s experise for seeing into a productions core and pulling the strength and the power from a photograph or video clip with a disecting eye for production helped make Avian Encounters III what it is…an emotional celebration of companion parrots and the deep and intense inside look into the lives of the people that care for them.

In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as scuba diving, playing golf, fishing and hanging out at the beaches of Florida...Unless there is another production being set forth. Michael then devotes all his spare time to being in the editing room with Christina for endless hours getting the sequences as perfect as they can be.

Michael currently works for the Collier County Government as the HMIS (Homeless Management Information Systems) Administrator, tracking homelessness in Collier County, Florida. He works closely along side the non-profit organizations to help the homeless look forward to a better future for themselves and their families through government housing and assistance.
